U.S. and Canada: a tale of two housing markets

The U.S. and Canadian housing markets have traded spaces.

While home prices in the U.S. increased by an annualized rate of 8.1 percent in the first quarter, they have "leveled out" in Canada and threaten to slip lower, according to a report from Scotiabank.
