A mysterious pop-up picnic is coming to Calgary July 4.

On July 4, get ready to experience the largest and most glamourous picnic you've ever seen

Following on the footsteps of Vancouver, Calgary will host it's first ever Dîner en Blanc on July 4.

This pop-up picnic will see 1,200 Calgarians dressed head to toe in white and carrying their own table, white chairs and white tablecloth descend on a secret location. Originating in Paris, Vancouver held it's first Dîner en Blanc last year and will double it's size to 2,500 guests for 2013 to accomodate demand. The Paris event sees 15,000 guests every year.
