TD Bank, National Bank slip in ranking of world’s strongest banks

Five of Canada’s six big lenders placed in the top twenty in a new ranking of the world’s strongest banks, but two of them slipped from the previous year as the industry was hit by ratings downgrades and hurt by a slowing economy and an increasingly risky housing sector.
