Alderman Carra, his wife Barbara and their infant son Vance Urbano Carro are residents of Inglewood, which is the oldest area in Calgary. They live in a Craftsman-style bungalow dating back to about 1912.
“It was built with a lot of love and a lot of attention to detail,” says Carra, whose parents bought the house, sight unseen, in 1988. When they finally saw it, his mother realized it was the house she had always dreamed of owning from the time she was a young girl growing up in Inglewood.
